What will you be doing?

The Accounting Manager supports the business by overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, which includes the general ledger, accounts payable, financial reporting, and treasury/cash management. The Accounting Manager will manage one bookkeeper and work closely with all company employees to ensure compliance with company financial policies and safeguarding of financial assets. In addition, the Accounting Manager will be the administrator of our QuickBooks financial software. This position is well-suited for someone looking to utilize their interpersonal, workflow, financial, and organizational skills in a veterinary environment. 

Equine and/or veterinary business experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, have a strong attention to details, analytical, and have the ability to operate independently while working to achieve team goals. This role works alongside our management team, in addition to regularly interfacing with Veterinarians, Technicians, and other office staff members. The role is part of the Finance department and reports to the Financial Controller.

Compensation based on experience, starting at $75,000. Hours Mon-Fri 8a-5p (40 hours/week). This is an exempt, full-time position.
