For over 35 years, B.W. Furlong & Associates has provided world-class equine veterinary services in Oldwick, NJ with additional locations in Ocala/Wellington, FL and Middleburg, VA.

New Jersey is the east coast’s best kept secret, with our headquarters located in the idyllic countryside of Hunterdon County. The area offers easy access to New York City, Philadelphia, and the Jersey Shore along with hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails and endless outdoor activities. Our facilities house advanced diagnostic imaging services, a rehabilitation center, surgery suites, and a full service hospital.
What will you be doing?
We are looking to immediately fill the role of a Client Relations Representative. This is a highly visible position within the practice. A Client Relations Representative coordinates and communicates daily appointment scheduling for ambulatory and hospital cases. This includes distributing and tracking client/patient forms, client check-in and/or check-out (in-person or remote), ensuring client awareness of payment options for services and collecting payment at time of service. This position is well suited for someone with a strong customer service background working in a busy veterinary/medical practice or office environment with a solid understanding of equine anatomy and health conditions. Familiarity with medical and pharmaceutical terms is a plus. We are happy to provide training for the right person; someone who has exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced phone lines and retain critical patient information. The ideal candidate will enjoy working closely with veterinarians, learning something new every day, and will have a passion for providing world class care for our patients and clients. We ask that you are dependable, responsible, and willing to work hard.
Work hours are 8am- 5pm, Monday – Friday. Additional hours may be required periodically based on business need. The position is full time and based in Oldwick, NJ.
Our compensation package includes: hourly compensation starting at $20/hr, health and welfare benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a student loan repayment program, 401k with 3% employer contribution, profit sharing, Paid Time Off (annual and CE), Employee Assistance Program, Long Term Disability insurance, logo wear, and discounted veterinary products and services.
