Lindsay Annis, DVM, Intern

Originally from Alberta, Canada, Dr. Lindsay Annis has been around horses from a very young age, as her grandparents bred Standardbreds in Ontario. She quickly became an avid horsewoman and has a particular interest in jumping and eventing. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Master of Arts in 2006, Dr. Annis moved to Switzerland to do her MBA and afterwards to work in the pharmaceutical industry for several years. In 2014, she decided to quit her job and pursue her childhood dream of being an equine veterinarian. Dr. Annis graduated from the Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Zurich in December 2019 and has spent the first half of 2020 obtaining her accreditation as a veterinarian in the United States. Her areas of interest are sports medicine and rehabilitation, emergency medicine and neonatal critical care and she is also interested in acupuncture and chiropractic as integrative care. Her husband and colt D’Incanto are currently still in Europe so Dr. Annis is looking forward to getting to know the area and meet new people. In her free time, she prefers to be in the saddle but also loves traveling, reading, outdoor sports (especially with friends) and spending time cooking and baking.
