Essa Azzolini, DVM

Dr. Essa Azzolini has always been around horses, she remembers walking around horses and ponies her family had on a farm when she was very little. By the time she was 4 she started taking riding lessons at a show jumping facility in Brasilia- Brazil, her homeland, and since then horses have been on her everyday schedule. She was also always fascinated by watching the vets work on those horses and was always chasing the sick horses around. She knew from an early age that being a horse veterinarian was her future. Dr. Azzolini earned her degree in veterinary medicine from UPIS University in 2022 and also has a bachelor in biotechnology from University of Brasilia, a course she attended before getting into vet school. Her professional interests are surgery and critical care. Outside of work she can be found riding horses somewhere!
