I was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ. I have always worked with and taken care of all kinds of animals, anything from reptiles and birds to dogs and cats. But there’s a special place in my heart for horses. I might not have grown up with them but once I found horses my passion flourished. My first horse experience started at a Dude Ranch in Pennsylvania where I volunteered as a barn hand and wrangler for 15 years. From there my love and respect for horses only grew and I ended up receiving my bachelor’s degree in Equine Science and Management at Morrisville State College in upstate NY. After college I worked at many different small animal hospitals and in the last 2 years I began working in large animal clinics. I am so excited for the opportunity to continue my education and join the B.W. Furlong team. In my free time I love to hunt, fish and kayak but I can always cuddle up with a good book or sit with my easel and paint.
