Kaleigh Rooney

Kaleigh grew up in the western/racing side of the horse world & fell in love with it at a very young age. Growing up, she’d spend summers working on her uncle’s dude ranch, and eventually started working there full time during college. Kaleigh attended school in northern New York as an animal science major, and went on to work at racetrack & hunter/jumper barns, and had even taught therapeutic riding for a period. Kaleigh and her family currently rescue horses, donkeys, goats and sheep and board injured horses whom they help rehab. She loved seeing the progress these horses would make, and knew she wanted to get into the medical side of the horse world. She started out as a Rehabilitation Technician at Furlong’s Soundness Center and can now be found on the road with Ambulatory, hoping to make a difference in as many horses’ lives as possible.
