Shelli Oien

Shelli grew up on a small farm in Oregon. She enjoyed the rural countryside, hacking out on her retired polo pony, Penny. After graduating from University of Oregon she moved to NYC. While working for an environmental engineering company she attended Columbia University and NYU studying Immunology, and subsequently working for Memorial Sloan Kettering in cancer research. Although she loved research, the love of motherhood won out. Shelli raised her three kids first in suburbia, then in rural NJ. She currently has a horse farm in Tewksbury for retired horses. Being surrounded by horses and her many dogs has brought her back to her roots and provided years of joy. Shelli enjoys spending time with her children and many animals as well as traveling.
