Tina McPheeters

Tina, originally from central Illinois, developed a love for horses through her mother and was always passionate about animals. After earning a BS in biology and chemistry, she pursued further education in veterinary medicine, graduating from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2004. Tina became a credentialed equine technician, gaining experience in areas like anesthesia, nuclear scintigraphy, radiology, and microbiology before discovering her passion for sports medicine. Seeking warmer weather, she moved to Ocala in 2016 and worked as an ambulatory technician with PPES from 2017 to 2021. She rejoined the ambulatory team in Ocala in January 2025. In her free time, Tina enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, cooking, and spending time with her black labs, Thelma and Lucinda and retired horses.
