What do you love about being an equine vet: I love the unexpected quiet moments and breathtaking views that come with working such long and unusual hours. Taking a few moments to watch the sun rise (or set) over a horse farm never gets old.
What is your favorite activity to do outside of work: I have always been an artistic person and growing up, I took a wide variety of art classes and always found it to be calming and fun. Recently, I have been getting back into art by taking classes and even branching out into photography.
If you could give one piece of advice to horse owners, what would it be: I always invite owners to feel free to ask questions and seek advice from vets, especially in regards to the prevention and management of injuries or illnesses. We are always happy to share our knowledge and want to support our clients and patients as best as we can.
