What do you love about being an equine vet:
I love coming up with creative ways to improve a horse’s quality of life and the human-animal bond. From short term illnesses to more chronic management issues, it’s always rewarding to find solutions to help both a horse and owner.

What is your favorite activity to do outside of work:
Riding, hiking with my dog, and baking.

If you could give one piece of advice to horse owners, what would it be: No one likes to think about emergencies, but planning ahead can save so much time and stress. Does your horse have the option to go to the clinic for additional treatment? Do they have a surgical option? Do you have a trailer available or the numbers of local shippers? These answers can change over time, and it may be helpful to reevaluate annually.
