Amanda Lentz, DVM

Dr. Amanda Lentz grew up on Long Island, New York. She has ridden horses for as long as she can remember and spent many years working in various barn environments, including a petting zoo! She attended Stony Brook University to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Biology before heading to Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine for her doctorate. Amanda has a passion for all things large animal medicine, but has a special interest in equine ambulatory medicine and strives to be a well-rounded practitioner. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys trail-riding with her horse Picasso, going on adventures with her dog Cody, and spending time at the beach!
