Audrey Keen

Audrey was born and raised in Delco, Pennsylvania. Like many of us, she begged her parents for riding lessons at a young age—and the rest is history. She spent much of high school working at the Philadelphia Zoo and initially planned to pursue a music degree, but changed her mind to animals at the last second. She attended the University of Delaware, where she competed with the IHSA team and served as president of the Women’s Rights group on campus.

She first considered horses as a career path after falling in love with an equine reproduction internship in 2021. Audrey graduated in 2023 with a B.A. in Animal Sciences, along with minors in Animal Nutrition and Wildlife Conservation. She spent the next couple of years working for a major Standardbred breeder, learning the ins and outs of equine reproduction, yearling sale prep, injury care in the field, and much more. Craving something different, she moved north and began working for the practice in early 2025. Her areas of interest include neonatal care, wound repair, and disease prevention—all of which she is fortunate to learn about each day.

Outside of work, Audrey can usually be found spending time with her family, friends, boyfriend, or cat. She enjoys hand embroidery, tending to her ever-growing plant collection, and birdwatching. She also loves spending time on the water in Chesapeake City and cheering on the two-time Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.
