Cara McNamara, VMD

Dr. Cara McNamara is a born and raised New Jersey girl from Woodbridge Township. She received a Bachelors of Science in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University, where she became very involved with the Quarter Horse breeding program and discovered her love for equine reproduction and foaling. She then went on to attend veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated as an Equine major. After completing an externship at B.W. Furlong & Associates in the summer of 2022, she decided to return for a year-long internship to further develop her clinical skills as a new equine practitioner. Her professional interests lie primarily in reproduction and neonatal care, as well as general ambulatory/preventative care. In her free time, she enjoys all things outdoors, playing video games and spending time with her dog, Avon, and pony, Quinn.
