Emma Gold

Emma grew up in Hunterdon County, NJ and got her first horse, Monty, when she was 5 years old.  She attended Delaware Valley University graduating in 2023 with a BS Equine Science and Breeding, as well as an agribusiness minor.  During her time at school, she was secretary of the western equestrian team and competed for the IDA team.  She has experience working under professional western and dressage trainers, managing show barns, and doing lots of foal watching!  She has also completed Equine Massage hours under Jean-Pierre Hourdebaigt.

Emma’s biggest passion in the horse industry is definitely breeding, specifically working with stallions and foals.  She has experience working on many breeding farms, and has done so for many breeds, such as Standardbreds, Fjords, Thoroughbreds, and Quarter Horses.  She is so excited to continue to learn and further her equine education as a hospital technician here at B.W. Furlong & Associates.

In Emma’s free time she enjoys trail riding with her horse, Grace, and attending local shows showing in ranch, reining, and western dressage.  Her other hobbies include spending time with her family and boyfriend, and hiking with her Dalmatian, Mack.
