kai glenney
kai glenney (they/them) was born and raised in the countryside of New England. kai always had a love of horses and by 14 years old started volunteering at a local horse rescue and working at horse barns. Starting their academic career at Centenary University earning their B.S. in Equine Studies, concentration in Equine Science, kai quickly became interested in equine health and care. Following their time at Centenary, kai decided to shift plans and pursued a Masters of Divinity at Drew University Theological School in Madison, NJ. During their program, kai discovered a deep passion for climate justice, eco-theology, and ecology. Following graduation in 2020, kai took a role managing a dressage and combined driving winter season’s Florida barn. During this time they realized that they wanted to return to the equine industry full-time and get more involved in equine veterinarian care. In kai’s spare time you can find them either at the barn learning how to drive with Sara Schmitt’s schoolmaster combined driver, High Country’s Doc, riding dressage, spending time with family, or hanging out with their partner and their dog.
