Kristin Jankowitsch

A Pennsylvania native, Kristin fell in love with horses and started riding at the age of five. She began her riding and training journey in hunters. Her rides consisted of horses and ponies purchased from New Holland Sales Stables to A Circuit hunter mounts. Once her introduction into riding began, Kristin chose to dedicate much of her life to the pursuit of knowledge and experience in training, care and management of horses. As her abilities grew, she stepped into training horses professionally broadening her horizons in many disciplines including hunters, jumpers, dressage, eventing and at liberty work. While training, she also managed, instructed and groomed at a wide range of facilities. Directly out of high school, Kristin moved to Colorado where she lived for almost two years as a wrangler. Here she trained horses to navigate dangerous terrain, handle interactions with wildlife and led trail rides through the Rocky Mountain National Park. Upon returning to Pennsylvania, Kristin continued her work in training horses, managing facilities, instructing and grooming. Kristin attended Delaware Valley University, where she acquired a Bachelor’s of Science in Equine Reproduction and an Associate’s Degree in Equine Business Management. In her mid twenties, her love for the discipline of dressage flourished into FEI level work. Kristin is working towards earning her medals in dressage with her current mounts, Sunny and Blue. Over the last few years in preparation for a career change, she has taken time to pursue her interest in the field of veterinary medicine. After shadowing and working in mixed animal practices, Kristin is delighted for opportunity to broaden her abilities at B.W. Furlong & Associates.
