Mackenzie Snyder
Mackenzie Snyder grew up in Flemington, New Jersey, where her passion for horses began at just four years old while tagging along behind her older sister asking for pony rides. As she got older, Mackenzie spent her time working at various farms throughout Hunterdon County, gaining hands‑on experience in horse care, barn management, and the day‑to‑day operations that keep a farm running smoothly.
She competed in Eventing with her horse Apple under the guidance of her longtime trainer. After Apple passed away, Mackenzie found her current horse, Lilly, and the pair successfully competed up to the Novice level. In 2023, Lilly sustained a medial and lateral suspensory branch injury. Navigating Lilly’s extensive rehabilitation process became a turning point for Mackenzie, one that revealed her passion for helping horses recover, regain strength, and return to feeling their best. That experience ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in equine rehabilitation.
Beyond her competitive background, Mackenzie has been deeply involved in the Hunterdon County 4‑H program as a member of the Round Valley Riders horse club. She also spent nine years on the Pink Ladies Riding Performance Team, serving as captain and helping raise awareness and funds for breast cancer causes through performances and community events.
Mackenzie is currently studying Equine Media and Communications at Delaware Valley University, where she will graduate in May 2026. She competes on the university’s Dressage Team at the upper‑training level and serves as the team’s secretary.
Mackenzie is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team and is committed to helping horses recover comfortably, safely, and successfully. She looks forward to supporting both horses and their owners through every step of the rehabilitation process.
