Welcome back to our 2022 Spotlight Series! 2022 marks the 5th year doing our Spotlight Series. We felt the 5th anniversary would be the perfect time to reintroduce all of our outstanding doctors. We are staying in Florida for a few weeks. Dr. Gold splits her time between our Oldwick, NJ headquarters and with our Wellington, FL team which is where she currently is!

What do you love about being an equine vet: Fundamentally, I love horses. Being able to use my skill set to improve their lives is an honor, and it remains my lifelong endeavor to keep learning how to support them and their teams. I never stop learning, from colleagues, grooms, trainers, riders – all sorts of horsemen in all different disciplines. Horses have also taken me around the world, introduced me to amazing people I am proud to call friends, and have kept me out of trouble because I always have to show up for horses, even as a little kid. 

What is your favorite activity to do outside of work: Skiing, scuba diving, and riding my beautiful Coco at sunset. 

If you could give one piece of advice to horse owners, what would it be: Take the time to learn to communicate with your horse. And then listen to what they have to say.
